Our Story

Briones Consulting & Engineering, Ltd. is a synergistic team of licensed engineers, licensed surveyors, survey crews, designers, construction inspectors and associated support personnel. We supplement our refined technical expertise with original thinking and creative planning.

The team consists of twenty staff, each with the specialized area of expertise to bring project idea to materialization in the most efficiently economic manner possible. 

In addition to the planning, design and construction of a public works or development project, we provide a multitude of specialized services for our clients such as construction management, preliminary site evaluation and project feasibility analysis.  As engineers, consultants and urban planners, we cover a full spectrum of engineering expertise: civil, hydraulics, structural and sanitary engineering.

Our project portfolio ranges from a simple land development project of a two-acre residential parcel in a rural setting to developing an advanced wastewater treatment facility.  Each new project is equally privy to our firm’s extensive resources and will experience the same high level customer service.  We take pride in having personalized working relationships with key personnel of various utilities, government officials and all of our clients.

The roots of Briones Engineering originated from Ozuna & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., which provided the initial vision of instilling a “can do” attitude

Briones Engineering has always shared great pride in the cultural heritage of South Texas.  We are certified as both a Minority Business Enterprise and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise by the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) and operate as a Historically Underutilized Business as recognized by the Texas Building & Procurement Commission (TBPC).
